Delete Your OatStock Account & Data

Effective date: June 10, 2026

This page exists to satisfy Google Play's requirement for a publicly reachable account-deletion URL (in addition to in-app deletion). Host it at a stable public HTTPS URL (e.g. https://oatstock.com/delete-account) and enter that URL in Play Console → App content → Data deletion and link it from the App Store listing. OatStock lets you permanently delete your account and all of your personal data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

Open OatStock and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap Account → Delete account.
Confirm by typing your email address and entering your password.

Your account is deleted immediately and permanently. This signs you out on every device.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app (for example, you've uninstalled it or can't sign in), email privacy@oatstock.com from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete your account. We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently and irreversibly remove:

your account profile (email, display name, password hash, settings);
your inventory (per-flavor counts and thresholds);
your consumption history;
your favorites;
your flavor notes;
your active sessions and any password-reset tokens.

This deletion cascades — the data is hard-deleted from the database, not merely deactivated.

What is retained, and why

For security and abuse-prevention, OatStock keeps an append-only security audit log of sensitive events (such as logins and password-reset requests). For forensic integrity, audit-log entries are retained even after account deletion. After your account is deleted, the identifier stored in those entries is kept only as a plain string and is no longer linked to a live account. These entries may include the IP address recorded at the time of the event and are retained for 12 months, after which they are deleted or further minimized. Before you delete — export your data

If you want a copy of your data first, use Profile → Account → Export my data in the app, which produces a JSON file of your account, inventory, consumption history, favorites, and flavor notes.
